Retail Product Warranty

Terms: Net 30

Terms Net 30 applies to all Wim’s retail products except overwritten by the term on quotation/order, this will be printed on your invoice.

 

All awnings have 3 years warranty for product and two years warranty for workmanship

 

Warranty

 

Wim warrants that all blinds, awnings and shutters will be free from defects due to materials or workmanship. And we will be liable for the repair or replacement of any defective material or parts in Wim’s Blinds, Awnings and Shutters.

 

 

The Blinds and Awning warranty will cover:

For one year, labour/workmanship to replace or repair defective materials and parts, and solve manufacturing faulty on all customized products unless overwritten below. Please note that vertical blinds weights (chained or chainless) are not under this warranty.

For one years, replacement of defective materials and components on overseas blinds.

For two years, replacement of defective materials and components on local blinds.

For three years, replacement of defective materials and components on Awnings.

 

The Blinds and Awning warranty does NOT cover:

Products that outside recommended sizes in our pricelist;

Any conditions caused by wear and tear

Damages caused by Exposure to sun, wind, water or rain

Marks, holes, fraying or imperfections of materials that reported to us more than 14 days after installation/delivery;

The cost of access equipment (e.g scaffold or cherry picker)

Imperfections that are not visible to naked eye in a distance of 1.5 meters

 

For Plantation shutters, the warranty will cover:

For three years, paint peeling which has occurred consistently across the inside and outside of panels and frames.

For one year, labor to replace or repair defective parts and mechanisms like screws, hinges and control bars.

For any broken blades, timber cracks, or paint peeling reported to the office in first month of installation.

 

The Plantation Shutter warranty does NOT cover:

Inconsistence of fading.

Imperfections that are not visible to naked eye in a distance of 1.5 meters

Broken blades, timber cracks, or paint peeling reported to the office after fourteen days of installation.

 

Exclusions

Wim will not cover:

1. Products that have not yet been paid in full amount as shown on invoice/quote.

2. Products installed improperly by any third party

3. Normal wear and tear

4. Damage caused by exposure to excess moist or wind.

5. Damage caused by imperfect building material (eg. aged wall)
